Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression across the screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. She embarked on a profession in physical therapy. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long and quickly made the move in Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Despite the small roles, she discovered that acting was her passion. She relocated from the Midwest to New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. During the early part of the decade She appeared on small parts for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived television drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. After a short time, her character moved over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated several times for her character, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko, Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's somewhat dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes, the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has an Italian father as well as an older sister Cory, who is 10 years younger than her. She was raised by an orthodox and religious family. Milano began her career at seven when her babysitter accompanied her to a stage audition. The four selected girls among over a thousand applicants included Milano. Milano is featured in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as in the American debut of Jane Eyre.
